Christmas is just a few days away. This seems shocking. How can it be the 21st of December already?
Parties were enjoyed (more are yet to be), cookie making is happening today, gifts were carefully chosen, some sit wrapped under the tree. This has been a fun, enjoyable, even leisurely Christmas season. Hopefully the same is true for you.
Today I want to share a simple and natural cleaner with you. With Christmas comes parties, company, and hosting. If you have high iron content in your water, it can be a bit embarrassing having guests over. With vinegar though, that embarrassment can come to an end.
Vinegar, a Simple Solution
Living in a home with high iron content can be discouraging in the cleaning department. Toilets stain, shower walls grow a thick coating, same goes for mugs, and glass becomes foggy. If you have struggled with finding the right cleaner, it may be time to give distilled white vinegar a try.
It is funny how something so simple, and natural too, can result in amazing results. And yet, that is exactly what is found with the use of vinegar.
Toilet bowls shine, shower walls no longer have a flaky coating, and mugs look inviting to drink from.
If you too have an issue with hard water, adding vinegar to your list of cleaners may be the tip you were looking for.
Keep in mind, this product is not safe for all surfaces. Those you can use it on though, will become cleaner and sparkling.
Mugs come clean by pouring in heated vinegar and letting sit for a few minutes. A light scrub and they look like new.
Pour heated vinegar into a spray bottle, add a few squirts of Dawn dish soap, and you have the perfect combination for cleaning shower walls.
So go ahead, give this natural way of cleaning a try.
